K’ Thefit Barbie, founder of Team Phenophysiques, started competing in 2012. Kenea’s affinity for sports and competition stems from the age of 3 as she began practicing volleyball, swimming, football, track, and gymnastics. She has developed into a recognized and celebrated bikini competitor with extensive experience on the competition circuit.
Her fate began upon accepting a bet that she would not compete. Challenge accepted and her newfound love and passion ignited within as she stepped on the stage.
Kenea’s passion lead her to compete in local shows in which see placed 1st numerous times and a 2nd place.
Kenea’s drive to expand her competition career and to practice her fitness craft lead her to join the federation NPC. Her first show was the Phil Heath show and she placed 1st out of 27 competitors in her height class. Her journey continued as she competed in 3 pro card qualifying shows which she consistently placed top 4.
Kenea’s momentum built and she set her sights on the Arnold Classic. Her determination, focus and commitment lead her to a first place win. She is celebrated as the first African-American in Arnold bikini history.
Kenea did JR Nationals placing 1st which won her pro card. Since then she has done two pro shows, Tampa pro which she placed 9th and IOWA Pro which she placed 3rd.
Kenea won’t stop until she hits the big stage OLYMPIA in 2018.
K’Thefit Barbie is also also a NASM/AAAI and Pheno Certified Personal Trainer and an accomplished licensed esthetician and make-up artist. Her main mission is to inspire, support, and motivate women to be their best from the inside out.
