Jeffrey Gershon started his athletic career in high school while playing football, track and field, and fencing. Upon entering Florida Atlantic University, he became interested in bettering his physique through fitness and nutrition. He began working at the FAU campus recreation center training the gym members. Some of these gym members went on to compete and place in figure competitions under his training. Jeffrey learned from professors whose work and research were presented at national conferences. His mentor is a former professional strength and conditioning coach and Olympic athlete.
During his studies, Jeffrey worked with a variety of individuals from elderly and disabled to professional athletes. Upon graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelors of Science in exercise science and health promotion, he went on to become a national strength and conditioning association certified strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA-CSCS).
He started his career in the Atlanta area working with traumatic brain injury patients with great success. His education has given him the skills necessary to rehabilitate and inspire clients with injuries. Jeff also has proven to be very successful in working with a wide variety of clients including autistic individuals, young athletes and clients with specific goals in mind like weight loss and muscle building.
Jeffrey’s philosophy on training is “specificity.” Meaning the clients specific goal is the focus of the training program. His specialties include static and dynamic stability, power lifting, Olympic lifting, sports performance and functional training.
